All our staff undergo a rigorous recruitment selection and statutory vetting procedure.

They also must go through a vetting process before engaging with any clients, including an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check, at least two references checks, one which must be from their current or most recent employer and a mandatory training program.

They undertake a comprehensive induction and mandatory training where they are assessed for competency prior to undertaking any work

MCA including DOLS
Medication Administration
Moving and Handling
Safeguarding of vulnerable adults
Data Protection
Challenging behaviour
Dementia care

Training needs and opportunities for further development are identified through supervision and a minimum 1 annual appraisal for all Staff and Care Workers. Additional appraisals can also be done where the need is identified. Health and Social Care training to the required level will be available to all staff in accordance with the relevant legislation.

All Care Workers providing a service to our clients with specific needs will receive appropriate specialist training. All members of the care staff are offered the Care Certificate after 3 months of employment. Staff will only be offered work upon satisfactory completion of the recruitment process.
